| The misunderstanding was fun, and the conversations in general continue to be a very chill watch between Tayama and Sasaki. Sasaki got a nice laugh out of that but Tayama got hers back when teasing him about his Mie dialect later on. Even the bits with them seeing the sunrise in their own homes early morning and smoking were nice little scenes too. |

| Misunderstanding was fun, not drawn out and resolved well within 15 minutes so that works for me. I liked the second half more, I just really like moments of quiet contemplation. |
| I'm curious to know if anyone has actually picked up smoking from watching this show? Because scenes like the end where they are both smoking in the morning might look fun and relaxing, but far out is smoking bad for you....each to their own though. It was cute to see Yamada get so upset about learning that Sasaki had a non-existent wife. Don't know if I want to see these two end up together or just stay really good friends (weird friendship ngl). Yet it seems like Yamada wants more than just friendship if you ask me ( *︾▽︾) |

| Smoking Thursdays are back. Thanks to the delay, now Yani Neko and Smoking Behind the Supermarket both have the same number of episodes. So they'll probably end on the same date too. That's kinda cool. What a way to start the episode by dropping the bomb suggesting Sasaki is married lol. Now that I think about it, maybe one of the staff actually recognizes that Sasaki is the same guy who once helped Tayama? Ohno perhaps? Maybe she needs to take a closer look at Sasaki to remember. But it's probably a long shot at best. Yeah, Yamada totally doesn't care about Sasaki's private life. Hard to imagine Sasaki as a divorcee. I bet he probably had a few flings in the past. He was probably very good-looking in his 20s. But those relationships probably didn't go anywhere, let alone anywhere near marriage. His girlfriends were probably disappointed after seeing the real him. And that's how Sasaki learned that he should be happy to see other sides of people. Or I'm just talking outta my ass. But would be cool if something like this happened. But developments like this kinda ruin the chill vibes of shows like these, so I understand why they aren't done often. Anyway, Yamada's concern turned out to be nothing. Her reactions were so cute. Sasaki is so dense he didn't realize Yamada was Tayama when she was acting out of character at the register. And she believed he had a supermodel wife lol. It was nice how the two shared a cig at the same time in the morning. That was quaint. |
| As if poor Sasaki didn't have enough things about him that Yamada routinely uses as teasing ammunition, innit? Though I guess it's only fair since he got to laugh at her lol. And man, Maezawa's energy is infectious. |
| The shortest episode felt yet but it's still 21 minutes and some harm. It was very chill compared to rest, just Zawa-senpai spooking Yamada with Sasaki's "ring", and Tayama making fun of our man's Mie accent. But the scene where both of them light a stick before a very cold dawn was a highlight. Sometimes it's Densesaki panicking in embarassment or Yamada giving you the cold and sweetest face cards will get you going, but this episode...sometimes you just need to smoke some cigarettes on a balcony and take the feel of a quiet and peaceful mornings (as 60 degrees Fahrenheit of wind gusts blows to your whole soul and body). |

| “Your wife must be waiting on you” And this is exactly why we never take relationship advice from our single friends because they’ll have you out here looking dumb af 😭 Yamada was so mad about Sasaki showing up with a ring on his finger, she almost broke her wholesome store employee gimmick, lmao. I’m glad they didn’t draw it out and the two of them communicated like adults, laughed it off and had a nice little intimate moment. Conflict introduced and solved in 5 minutes, that’s how adult relationships should be handled both irl and in anime. If mommy says get in a corner and smoke, you smoke. |

| Quite a wholesome and funny episode coming specifically from Yamada's reactions. The way she took Maezawa's misinformation, tried to play it cool and then realized her mistake was so cute that couldn't help but to laugh at the confusion. The chief even knew about her act and didn't tell since she found it amusing as we do. And in the second part we got something more mellow regarding that lonely yet meditating sensation of taking the winter morning in when no-one's around. I've done it plenty of times only without a cigar in hand and it really clears your head a bit. |

It doesn't have to be a cigarette, it's the (comforting) ritual-like routine more than anything that gets people hooked. This show *heavily* romanticizes smoking. Anyone dumb enough to pick up smoking simply because of this show (or Yani Neko) will quickly realize that. xD |

| I'm glad that the misunderstanding was cleared up by around the halfway point of the episode and it was funny to see Tayama be embarrassed about it but at least she got to laugh when she asked Sasaki to talk in his native dialect. On a side note I was impressed that Tayama got up early to smoke as recommended by Sasaki and even though she (and him) were cold I think she also enjoyed it as a different experience, and also something else to talk about next time they meet. |

| That wife misunderstanding was pretty contrived. Why would the sister put her old wedding ring (couple ring?) on her brother, of all people? And the one time he did that, Zawa-san happened to catch that? AND when Yamada asked him about it, he happened to have a watch that he doesn't wear often? Tayama feeling uncomfortable and betrayed (?) was fun to watch, though. The Mie dialect part and the shared morning smoke were indeed "pretty good." |
| Jealous Yamada was really cute. Although the misunderstanding involving Sasaki's sister could have been more intense if Yamada herself had been the one to "discover" them. |

| They're super cute! That does seem really relaxing to chill by the window at sunrise with a smoke. Almost made me think for a second I wouldnt mind trying that then I remembered I dont smoke and for good reason. I kinda get the people arguing this is like an ad for smoking. Almost fell for it XD. |

I was just curious to see how much of an influence this show had on those susceptible to smoking is all, as some of the scenes in this show as you said "*heavily* romanticizes smoking". I would be more surprised if people actually took up smoking because of Yani Neko, as that show just shows the worst of nicotine addiction compared to this one. |

| My heart nearly sank for Yamada when Chief mentioned the ring and the woman. Damnit Sasaki sister, why did you have to mess round like that?! xD Was also hilariously adorable with the misunderstanding at the smoking area. Sasaki talking about one thing, while Yamada was meaning another. Just glad it was cleared up in an adult manner and addressed rather than the excessive lingering you get in high-school setting shows. |

Dont worry, if people want to smoke because of this show, they just need to watch 10 minutes of Yani Neko haha. And to be fair, the show has said time and time again smoking is bad. Also loving this show, will feel its lost when its over, rare romance with wholesome adult characters. Hope they fully adapt everything and gives it a conclusion and happy ending. Meanwhile, its been fun. |
